There is a big relativity between wind power equipment and shipbuilding equipment industries. The prevailing regulation and guideline for wind energy converter system is made by GL who also worked out the guideline for shipbuilding. CSIC has special advantages in ocean project and capability of anti- foul ambient conditions and has leading technologies of gearbox, generator, control system, casting (hub, bearing housing etc.), welding (tower, frame) as well as GFRP (hub cover, nacelle cover). Except bearings, CSIC HZ windpower has formed its complete supply chain for most components.
CSIC HZ Windpowers assembly factory covers an area of 170 thousand square meters, with production lines for 2MW and 850kW WECS. It is made up of main plant and auxiliary plant. Main plant is set for assembly and test of WECS, equipped with 100/50T double-suspend traveling crane, 50/20T double-suspend traveling crane, 5T half traveling crane etc., and relative devices for installation, commissioning and test. Also the auxiliary plant is equipped with auxiliary machining device such as lathe, grinder, milling machine. The factory is able to manufacture turbines of 1200MW annually. |
